DATA PRICACY STATEMENT

Area of Application

This data privacy statement informs users of the type, range and the purpose of the surveying and use of personal data by the responsible provider [Simon Alpgaustraße GbR, Thorsten Simon, Erich-Kästner Straße 16, 76149 Karlsruhe, info@ferienhaus-alpenglueck.de, 0721/78159202] on this website (in the following “offer”). The legal principles of the privacy protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act and the German Act of Telemedia Services.

Establishing Contact

After contact is made with the provider (for example by means of a contact form or via email), the information of the user is saved for the purpose of handling of inquiries as well as in case follow up questions are asked.

Integration of Services and Third Party Content

It is possible that as part of the online offer, third party content such as Youtube, map material from Google-Maps, RSS-Feeds or graphics form other websites will be linked. This required that the providers of this content (known as “third party providers” hereafter) have access to the IP-address of the user. Without the IP-address, the providers would not be able to send the content to the browser of the user. Therefore, the IP-address is required to display the content. We make an effort to use only the content of those providers who utilize the IP-address solely for the purpose of supplying the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third parties save the IP-addresses for statistical purposes. As far as we are aware, they will inform the users should this be the case.

Google Analytics

This offer utilizes Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved on the computer of the user and make an analysis of the website usage possible. The information on the user collected by the cookie is generally sent to a Google Server in the USA and then saved there. In the case an IP-anonymization is activated on this website, the IP-address of the user will be shortened by Google in one if its member states in the European Union or in other contracted states of the European marketing area. Only for few exceptions is the entire IP-address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP-anonymization is active on this website. As instructed by the operator, Google will use this information to evaluate the usage of the website by the users in order to create reports of the website activity and to continue providing website- and Internet usage services to the website operator. The IP-address transferred from your browser by Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. Users can prevent the saving of cookies by adjusting their settings in their browser software; This offer also reminds the user that if they do so they will not be able to make use of all functions of the website however. By downloading and installing the browser plugin located in the following link, users can prevent the cookies from gathering information for Google regarding the usage of data related to the website (including their IP-address) and can further prevent Google from processing the data: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

As an alternative to the browser add-on or for browsers on mobile devices, please click the link in order to prevent Google Analytics from capturing data on this website in the future. In this case an opt-out cookie will be loaded to your device. If you delete your cookies, you will have to click the link once again.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

This offer makes use of social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook.com which is ran by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be identified by their Facebook logo (a white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or by the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and look of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

If users look up a website of this offer containing such a plugin, the browser will automatically build a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin will be directly transferred to the browser from Facebook and will be integrated in the website. The provider has no influence on the scope of data that Facebook captures with the use of the plugins and accordingly informs the user based on its state of knowledge: Through use of the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has looked up the relevant webpage of the offer. If the user is logged into Facebook, then Facebook can assign the visit to a Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, for example if they use the Like Button or make a comment, that information will be sent directly to Facebook and saved there.

If a user is not a member of Facebook, it may still be possible for Facebook to identify and save their IP-address. According to Facebook only one anonymized IP-address gets saved in Germany. The purpose and extent of the data collection and further usage of data by Facebook as well as the rights concerning this matter and adjustment options to protect the privacy of the user can be found in the notice of confidentiality which can be found on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If a user is a member of Facebook and does not want Facebook to collect his or her member data, he or she will have to log out of Facebook before going on the Internet.

Disclaimer, changes, corrections and updates

The user has the right to receive information on the personal data saved about him or her immediately upon request. In addition, the user has the right to request correction of false personal data, as well as to the suspension and deletion of it as long as there is no lawful record retention.
